Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd marked another milestone when it received a recognition from the World Business Chamber (WBC) at WBC’s inaugural awards ceremony in Federal capital, last night.
On hand to receive the ‘World Branding Excellence Award’ for Sarawak Metro was its Chief Executive Officer, Mazli Mustaffa.
The award was presented by the guest of honour for the event, the Governor of Melaka, His Excellency Tun Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam.
“We are indeed very honoured to receive this prestigious World Branding Excellence Award. This recognition reflects the dedication and commitment of the entire Sarawak Metro team, as well as the trust and support of our stakeholders who have been part of our journey,” Mazli said.
“As we continue to deliver the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS) project, this award inspires us to uphold the highest standards of excellence, innovation, performance and service as we work towards providing a modern and sustainable public transport system for the people of Sarawak,” Mazli said, after receiving the award.
Also present at the event were the Honorary Patron of WBC, Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki Tun Azmi, President of WBC, Tan Sri Michael Yeoh and Chairman of Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Seri Mohamed Iqbal Rawther.
